What Anadi showcases is also that art of urban who have been influenced by folk art. For instance Sajid instance Sajid Premi and Vivek, how give human features to animals like in the tribal art where according to a myth a buffalo names Burri and its seven sisters are blessed with mind like that of human beings ..................................................................................................................................................................... ............................................................................................Jasmine Shah Varma, Midday, June 2, 2001

Sajid concentrates on beauty of expression. He says it’s not necessary to draw a complete picture to reflect feelings of joy, sorrow, love and even lust; he face does it all. Another typical feature of his works – he coalesce human features with organs of animals. Most of his paintings have bold subjects. “Any emotion or sensation can-not be iniquitous; the representation of the same is what matters. Eloquent depiction of any emption can never be immodest,” he points out. ..................................................................................... ..................................................................................................................................................... ................................................................................Nilanjana Deb, The Pioneer, Bhopal, June 14, 2004

Commenting at his own work, he said that he has adopted a new style of expressing his thoughts murmuring into his mind to out. The body of the human figures is not as well proportionated. it should be. His man goal is to display the human society’s lust for sex that may not be clear from the proportionated figures. The whole story behind a painting remains one the faces of human figures including typical nose and affective eyes. Why should he make whole body of a male or female to tell his thoughts if all that is shown only through the faces, he added. He said that late jagdish swaminathan how was the Roopankar director in Bharat Bhavan had encouraged the artists like him, guided them time to time, held exhibitions of their art work and shown them the right way to go ahead in the sphere of art. The academic education in not necessary to become great painter, rather the continuous painting, viewing the paintings of maximum artists and observing society from a close quarter are the necessities in his opinion he added.......................................................................................... ........................................................................................................ .........................................................................................................National Mail, Bhopal, Jan 10, 1998
Sajid’s main forte is Portraits. This limitation itself opens illimitable spaces. He believes that the predictable reproduction of the facial details would leed him now where. A distortion, a light shift of weight, a misplaced slant or curve of the body could be interpreted in as many ways. When a face expresses what it has to express, the hair, eye brows and ears become insignificant. Therefore even in the most innocent faces, full of the delicacy and blitheness, above mentioned details are purposely omitted. An uncanny colour combination, liquiscent glinting eyes, calm and tranquil features, and a peculiar ethnicity make his acrylic works unusually arresting. ............................................................................ ............................................................................................................................ His paintings depicts abstract portrait which when depicted in different colors quite imaginative. His painting are untitled and he paints with no preconceived notion but paints because the inner urges hi to do so.

Sajid premi’s oils have a certain clarity about them which is very appealing. .................................................................................................................. Uma nair, asian age, new delhi
