Sajid concentrates on beauty of expression. He says it’s not necessary to draw a complete picture to reflect feelings of joy, sorrow, love and even lust; he face does it all. Another typical feature of his works – he coalesce human features with organs of animals. Most of his paintings have bold subjects. “Any emotion or sensation can-not be iniquitous; the representation of the same is what matters. Commenting at his own work, he said that he has adopted a new style of expressing his thoughts murmuring into his mind to out. The body of the human figures is not as well proportionated. it should be. His man goal is to display the human society’s lust for sex that may not be clear from the proportionated figures. The whole story behind a painting remains one the faces of human figures including typical nose and affective eyes. Why should he make whole body of a male or female to tell his thoughts if all that is shown only through the faces, he added. He said that late jagdish swaminathan how was the Roopankar director in Bharat Bhavan had encouraged the artists like him, guided them time to time, held exhibitions of their art work and shown them the right way to go ahead in the sphere of art. Sajid’s main forte is Portraits. This limitation itself opens illimitable spaces. He believes that the predictable reproduction of the facial details would leed him now where. A distortion, a light shift of weight, a misplaced slant or curve of the body could be interpreted in as many ways. When a face expresses what it has to express, the hair, eye brows and ears become insignificant. Therefore even in the most innocent faces, full of the delicacy and blitheness, above mentioned details are purposely omitted.
